The innate human nature (fitra)—an internal orientation toward truth, reality, and the Divine.
In the monotheistic tradition, humans are not “blank slates” or biologically determined animals. We are born in a state of innate nature (fitra): an inherent alignment with the divine order.
Fitra is the “original architecture” of the human soul. Modern systems (educational, economic, and social) function by suppressing or distorting this nature through systematic conditioning, leading to pathological deviation.
Reclaiming the innate nature (fitra) is the core work of purification (tazkiyah). It is the shift from reacting to external programming to acting from your innate center. When we align our external actions with this internal orientation, we experience divine blessing (barakah) and strategic clarity.
