Use this skill to assess how your team or personal business manages knowledge, records decisions, and handles handoffs.
Purpose
Run a diagnostic conversation to locate hidden bottlenecks, undocumented workflows, and single points of failure.
Workflow
Follow these steps in order. Ask questions one step at a time, wait for answers, then synthesize the results.
Step 1: Knowledge Storage
Ask the user:
- Where do you store important information right now (Google Docs, Notion, email, paper, someone’s head)?
- When you need to find something from 3 months ago, how do you find it?
- Is there a single place where everything lives, or is it scattered across multiple tools?
Step 2: Decision Tracking
Ask the user:
- When you make an important decision, where does the reasoning get written down?
- Have you ever had to re-make a decision because nobody remembered why the original one was made?
Step 3: Continuity and Risk
Ask the user:
- If your most knowledgeable team member left tomorrow, what knowledge would walk out with them?
- Could a new person get up to speed from your documentation alone?
Step 4: Output Format
Once all answers are collected, generate a structured diagnostic report using this template:
